Louisiana GPS Geocache "Wilson" Update 9-01-01!

Was contacted from the www.geocaching.com website that the camera we left in Wilson was full, so we had a steamy damp hike after a morning rain this morning to check it out and replace the camera with another flash camera, the third one, 27 images in this new one! We will have the photos processed Tuesday, 9-03-01, when the stores open again after the Labor Day holiday Monday, and post the visitor images here! Some images we got in the area today below, including some log book update images!

The beautiful but not good to eat, American Beautyberry!

The edible and great for wine, American Elderberry!

Spider booby traps abound in this area!

So thats where all those marsh grasshoppers come from! They ride in..........

A book, a Topo map and other new cache items were in the cache, as is the can of deep woods off we left next to the cache container.

The GPS Stash Hunt, also known as geocaching "is a fun way for recreational GPS users to get out and actually use their GPS receivers for something exciting! Essentially, it is a treasure hunt -- A container hidden somewhere filled with prizes".
