XS650 Early and Late Cam Chain Tensioners

The 72 model above (256 top) has the extension spring removed to show the installed position. Both are as installed with the cylinder head at the topof the image.

Both models use different size cam chains.

The 72 model above left has the identical 6 bolt mounting pattern as the 74-83 XS models.
