The Evolution of the Yamaha XS 650: through 1980!

Buried deep, in the back of my moto-cave, I was browsing through some old motorcycle shop dealer flyers and old racing programs with various motorcycle article reprints when I discovered this magnificent story of the evolution of the XS 650 Yamaha twin by and unknown author with information about its English roots, American evolutionary changes, factory accessories and specifications that few have probably seen!

I had to spend considerable time working these old pages over with software, just to render them readable for internet visitors, and have posted the complete article on the following 6 web pages, hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
