1977 XS 650 & Parts Bike:
Hi,
I have a 1977 Yamaha XS 650 for sale. It's in fair shape for an Antique 30 year old bike. The best part, I bought it off the Original Owner, and it only has a little bit over 8,000 miles on it. I have it on Craigs List in Northern Virginia. I have done some upgrades to it, such as putting a Newer 37mm Front end from a `84 Virago triple trees, and the tubes and lower legs from an XS 750, which gives it a 2 inch over front end, plus it has Dual Disc front brake set-up lower legs now, when you do a swap like this, you have to change the front Rotor, and use one of the rear Rotors of the XS 750, yet it will bolt right in place where the old one was. If you have 2 rear Rotors, you can swap it over to Dual Disc set-up. It starts and runs but is not road worthy yet. Have a complete `78 parts bike to go with it, only asking $1600.00 for every thing. Have Clear title to `77, but do not have one for the `78, this being the reason for it being a parts bike. If interested please call me at 540-878-1157/Cell, and, or 540-592-3178/Home.
