Copper seal washer and dome nut locations on the bottom case half.

Pressure plate on the right above is more desireable for performance applications. Load on the pressure plate is applied to the splined inner hub, versus the clutch spring stands on the early model design.

The XS650 has constant pressure oiling similar to current state of the art bikes since 1970!

Late 70's 38mm CV carb vacuum port to syncronize carbs.

1980 and some other years have vacuum connector tubes made into the intake boots. I tapped and installed a removeable threaded vacuum plug connector in that location on the above boots.

Rearsets made from late model ninja lightweight foot peg / master cylinder assembly.

Both styles of XS650 charging system rotors, and puller.

3 gallon stock tank for the "Specials" on the left above, and a wider 4 gallon from the "Standard models" on the right!

Cylinder head and cam / valve cover are machined in numbered pairs and should not be mixed together. The matching numbers are on the front of the head and the cam cover behind the chrome top end oil line.
