TRACKABOB II:

I've had a couple other bikes listed on here before, and as most of us 650 guys know one project leads to another. This is my latest creation again using my "TRACKABOB" design. I got a 1981 Yamaha XS 650 Special Donor bike that was in pretty sad shape, but it ran. The engine has been left essentially stock but it has been gone through to ensure everything is as it should be. I power blasted the motor, and applied a high heat finish. The new pipes, Bars, and shocks are from Mike's XS. Controls are from a dead Harley. I again utilized a simplified wiring set-up but added additional brake lights in the frame ends for added viability, and safety. The frame was completely stripped, and sand blasted. The grinding frame mods, the body work, the polishing of parts, and painting were performed by me in my little shop. All other frame mods & welding and the custom color powder coating were done by WISEGUYS Choppers & Customs in Marysville, WA. It runs GREAT!! Stops on a dime (and gives ya nine cents change) I've received many compliments on this new one though haven't really been able to ride it that much because it's sorta chilly up here in Washington this time of year.
