XS 650 Collection:
Here is my interpretation of the Classic cafe racer done from a 77 XS650 Standard. The bike was complete and in good condition (came from Phoenix) all the chrome was still good, I did the paint and body, added the front fairing, the clubman bars with bar-end mirrors, Made the seat, then freshened up the motor. (all stock) This is my 4th XS650 project, and I can't wait to start my next one. It is really cool to see all of the different customs that people are creating from these classic motorcycles. Thanks to all for the inspiration on this one and the others I have done and have planned in my head.. My Streettracker can be found at post #661 http://www.650motorcycles.com/TimRosse.html

I have a 78 Special that is almost done. It only need very minor stuff to be complete. needs one petcock, and blinkers. This bike was stripped to the frame and repainted, all the body work was done and it was painted 78 Ford red and polished out, it looks really good. The engine work was as follows, rings, valve job, new cam chain and cam chain guide, oil sump filter, carbs rebuilt, new tires, new chain. Has new superbike bars and grips with barends. The pipes are stock headers with 12" chrome mufflers welded on the ends and the heat shield reinstalled. All the chrome is good. the cases were painted Yamaha silver and the clutch cover and alt covers were painted satin black as were the tappett covers. This is the 5th (and last XS that I hav restored) For someone that wants a big big headstart on an XS project this is it. I have a new business and do not have any time to finish even the minor things that this bike needs to be done. I want $1,800 for the bike. It is the red bike in the forground.
