Street Tracker:

Hey Guys,

This fabulous 1976 XS650 Yamaha Street Tracker was featured in the April 2006 issue of RoadBike magazine and is now ready for a new owner.  It has a race history in a half dozen different states in AHRMA vintage flattrack racing but it is fully street legal with a clear Florida title and current registration.  Since it’s last race during the 2006 Daytona Bike Week, it has had a newly rebuilt engine installed with all new top end components including 1st OS pistons, rings, pins and clips, cam chain and front guide, clutch plates and springs, valve job, and all gaskets and seals.  It has new Mikuni 34mm carbs and a new battery and starter gear, starter relay and new remote starter button (that blue button on the left side cover). The engine has only enough hours to tune the carbs and adjust the valves but is not even broken in all the way.   It has Barnes hubs front and rear and 19 inch rims, Goodyear eagle DTII  CD5 compound dirt track tires, stainless spokes and quick change adapters in the rear, it also runs a 520 chain.  The brakes are light weight discs front and rear with stainless lines and a new front master cylinder, new swing arm bushings and heavy fork springs.  The tank is an original Harley Davidson XR750 ALUMINUM TANK with new epoxy paint last year.  The seat/ tail section is also an original stock Harley XR750 fiberglass unit with stock pad and cover.  The exhaust is also from an XR750 but modified for the XS and is ceramic coated as well.  It goes on sale on ebay on 2/20/07 and there will be many more pictures there.  Check it out on ebay or drop me a line at: spickett@whitbio.com Scott Pickett.
