Custom Chopper:
Hello,
This is
another build from G&L Choppers in Colorado Springs,
Co. This 650 was built for Steve in Astoria, NY. It
is a 81 XS. This bike like all of our bikes was built in
house. Starting with the frame, it was built in our jig
using 1 1/8 DOM tubing then tig welded. It has 4 1/2'
stretch to the rear and a stock rake. The motor is stock
aside from the 34mm VM's and match porting the intakes. The
rear fender is a flat fender off the front of
a HD. I cut the mounts off and used my english wheel to
achieve the contour needed to hug the rear 16"
tire. The Triumph type exhaust were built using pieces
of 16 ga exhaust tubing. The round
battery/electric box, grips, pegs, forward controls, ss sissy bar
and side mount tail light were fabbed in house as well. All
the aluminum, stainless, and chrome was brush
finished. Paint is HOK base black and silver. If you
