277° Rephased Chopper:

Hi,

Anyway, I want to thank you again for helping me over the past year. I just took my final pics of the final time I'll EVER build this bike. Its been built 2 times in 3 years, wheeeeww! Now its just time to ride it. We leave for the smoke out in Salisbury N.C. this thursday night. It's a 74 TX650 motor, 82 XS650 frame, motor bored to 763cc and rephased to 277 degree (with the BEST help from Bob, www.650motorcycles.com ) Rephased crank, with modified cam (Megacycle cams) and 36mm Mikuni round slide carbs, head ported and polished, Probe Engineering (Mark Whitebook in California) ignition system for 277 degree rephased crank. Lower end rebuilt with 83 model flawless tranny, back end of frame cut off, reconfigured and refabbed. Stock wheels, X-ring 530 gold chain, custom forward controls (by me), suicide shift, custom exhaust, custom seat (by me), Model A Ford "stop" taillight (Youngs choppers, www.youngchoppers.com) with stainless axle mounted tag plate, gold metal flake paint job and all powder coating (by me), internal throttle and various sweet swapmeet deals here and there. US.....www.freaksincorporated.com. Total approximate cost from day one, since i'm not rebuilding this bike anymore, approx. $3800.00 to date. Everything on this bike was done by me, with the MUCH appreciated help of some people of the industry. Thanks guys, you know who you are!
