XS650 New Oil Strainer Sump Assembly:

Great new bolt in sump assembly made by Fuji in Japan and imported by: Mikes XS!

If you have an XS 650 your engine oil sump screen is torn and not working properly. ALL the originals are! For some reason the original screens have a flat screen section with no support right in front of the hole in the sump plate where the oil suction pickup passageway is. Flat section is caved in and torn at the red arrow above.

The new updated design has folds completely around the circumference (no flat sections) , AND it is supported from behind with perforated metal like the oil filters have come for years. Inside view of old and new above!

Sump screen has much more surface area than necessary, all the oil to the oil pump goes through the small hole shown above at the red arrow.
