Here is one of our many projects that is getting close to final mockup.  My son and I decided that we needed to build something different, fast, and functional.  Here is our street racer project we are calling the “Pit Boss” in true Wise Guys Choppers lingo.  We chopped this frame up good.  We stretched the neck 3 inches, built a modified single down tube combo at the neck.  The gas tank is from a Hodaka road toad that we cut down and flattened the bottom to fit the motor and frame better.  At the rear we stretched and braced one of our swing arms, and then added side gussets with holes for looks.  Then we modified the swing arm and frame back to accept dual mono-shocks from a couple Yamaha R1’s.  We made a removable seat hinge assy to ride the mono-shock tree.  Flat fender with 5/16th round rod added and strutted to the swing arm.  We are installing a set of two into one headers that a buddy Bill Norton aka blacksmithbilly has made for us.  For carburetion we will be installing one of our two into one intakes with a mikuni round slide 34mm.  This is definitely a fun project and different form the normal chopper/bobbers we build at out shop.  We will be updating more as we get there.  Thanks again for allowing the world to post to this site and view what we all consider the most versatile model bikes ever manufactured, the XS650.  Joe Wiseguy, and son Red Sexy from Wise Guys Choppers, LLC.   We will be updating our own site soon with more of our stuff at www.joewiseguy.com  Thanks again for looking.
