Stretched Bobber:

Hi,

Here are a couple of pictures of my stretched bobber XS650. It started out as a 1982 Heritage Special. The back bone has been goosenecked, the neck has been lowered 3 inches. The rake is now 40 degrees. The swing arm has been stretched 4 inches and an under brace added. The handle bars are clip-ons that have been lengthended 6 inches. The grips are billet. The seat rail was lowered and now seat height is 22 inches. Forward controls were needed to accommodate the shifting and braking since the seat is so low. The tank is a sporty tank that we cut the tunnel out of and made it deeper to sit right over the engine. The tappet covers are my design-billet pointed style. Everything is powder coated except the frame and swing arm. This bike took me two months to build. The bike still needs the side covers made and powdercoated. This is my second XS650 softail with one hardtail on the bench now.
This bike was built at my home shop: Wise Guys Choppers and Customs in Stanwood, Wa. All frame, swing arm modifications, done here. The gas tank, fender, seat pan, etc were all powder coated here also. I provide service and build XS650 bikes as a home business now and enjoy every minute of it. Thank you for allowing me to send pics of my bike for
your review.
