1981 Yamaha XS 650:
Hi,
This is a 1981 Yamaha XS650 with 5,736 on the speedo. I have owned the bike for two years now and have not been able to find anyone who works on these older bikes in the area. Condition is good and the only issue is the charging system(runs off the battery, then dies) I have checked the generator brushes like someone suggested but they are fine, I do not have the time to trace out the charging system. Color is red with cafe style rear red track bars. Nice bike. (that's why I picked it up) My landlord is giving me a hard time about space so I have to get it out of here. If anyone knows of any worth while mechanics in Queens, NY. I would love to hear about them, if not she has to go. Give a shout at everrdyru@yahoo.com and I have some pics. Price would be reasonable.
