XS 650 Yamaha Replacement Long Rods

These con rods are 1/2 inch longer than the stock rods at 144mm and for custom applications only.

144 mm "long rod" with the exact big end width, and big end bearing ID to fit an XS 650. This is for special custom applications and will not fit a stock piston or an XS motors deck height. The pistons are 77mm std bore for a 650 Suzuki Twin. I have ordered small end needle bearings to fit the 18mm suzuki pin vs the 20 mm stock 447 pin.

This is for a 500 cc Honda two stroke single cylinder bike. The complete rod kit comes in a box with the proper 1mm thick thrust washers for an XS crank, both needle bearings, the rod, and big end pin for about 80 bucks each kit. That is a stock 20mm XS 650 wrist pin in the needle bearing small end in the image above.

Stock XS 650 big end bearing on the left above, the bearing is actually a little bigger / heavier duty in this rod too, (on the right) and has the same ID as the XS. The rod beam is a little narrower where it meets the big end, (1990's upgrades) and I have never seen a rod break there anyway, the rod is wider farther up near the small end where I have seen rods break. The con rod small end can be bushed as well, and be serviceable.
