1976 XS 650:
Hi,
Started with a bone stock 1976 XS 650 that has 7500 miles on it. This is the first bike that I have ever even thought of building and I am getting to do everything on this bike but the welding. Have a four inch stretch on the swing arm. Fabbed up rear brake and shift levers that I will need to build again. Bicycle pedal for kick starter. Eight ball dip stick. Bmx stunt pegs for highway pegs. Built a battery box and am building stainless steel side plates. This web site is helping me out so much. I go to this web site every day to check a new nice bike, every one of you built a sweet ride. I am on the wiring right now that Ken with Yamaha wiring explained. I have had a lot of help on this bike. Six years ago I had a motocross accident and have a brain injury bad enough that I was paralyzed on my left side on a Yamaha. Rode the same track a year to the day after. I am such a Yamaha dye hard that I will never quit at this build. I am loving building this bike and am enjoying all of them. Have under $100.00 into the bike with the cost of the bike. Just wondering if anyone would pay for this bike and how much for it? And if anyone could tell me things that I should know about this build? Please let met know !
