1981 650 Special II:
Hi,
Here is my 81 650 Special II. This bike was bought by my father. He put on about 4700 miles. Then it sat in a barn for about 15 years. It would get started about every two years, but never ran. After finding this site, I decided to see if I could have the old bike. With much inspiration from this sight, I now have this. I chopped the front fender, put in new front fork springs, rear shocks, trimmed the rear of the frame, made my own seat, covered by Lyles upholstery (Rochester MN), K&N air filters, my own battery box, 99 YZF taillight, and much more. Thanks for the great ideas!!!! Thanks to Omars for the kick ass pipes. They sound GREAT !!!! and the for the rear sets.
