Hi to all,
Firstly, may I take the chance to congratulate you one and all for a fantastic web site it has been my bible for some years now having built three in total XS 650s. We have a XS650B with a sidecar attached which has done thousands of trouble free kilometers with wife and son on board all the time. Please find enclosed some photos of my XS650 part C and part 1981 Special, it was a creation of my own, but many ideas came from your site. I fully rebuilt the motor to standard specs, the fibreglass is all TZ750, home made rear sets and exhausts, Koni rear shocks, Paolo Tarozzi clip ons and fork brace, it took me about two years to complete I was in no hurry being a retired Navy man, I also have a R1100RT BMW but the XS is exciting to ride and gets used a lot more than the BMW and of course the outfit is for the family, thanking you once again for a great site,
