1973 TX 650:
Hi,
Well, here it is, only five and a half months since you asked me for some photos -- and finally today I took a batch. Here they are. I'd be happy to have this bike find a good home -- or, if no one wants to buy it, I'd be happy to find someone to restore it to being a good runner that I could play with -- I'd like this as a street bike. Let me know what else I should know about/do about it. It's a '73 TX650 (serial S650213321). I bought it about ten years ago, rode it a bit, and decided to take the bike down to the frame to make it clean and spiffy. Upon starting the rebuild I discovered that I don't remember how to get the electrical system back together -- so it isn't ready to ride (well, mechanically it is, but it won't start/run due to the wiring hassle). It's physically reassembled -- just not wired properly. jon@infodestruction.com
