1982 400 Bobber:
Hi,
This bike started out as a 1982 Yamaha Seca 400... I got the idea to bob it from this wonderful site... after taking a hacksaw to the back half of the bike and tearing the seat apart... I cut it into the shape I wanted leaving just the pan.. I then had it recovered and extremely lowered by a local gal who does very impressive upholstery.. I took the headlight and speedo off and replaced them with mini guages and a nice round chrome headlight... drag bars were next.... then came the pipe wrap... then the rear fender came off an XS 650... oversized rear tire that just tucked in under the fender by a mere 1/8 of an inch... front fender... gone..... the rear tailight is for a super moto bike... no signal lights... new satin black paint this winter will finish it off....
