1979 XS Special:
This was a pick-up truck load of parts I paid $100.00 for. The engine is stock, the paint is candy apple red carisma over silver micro glow metalflake. This is my 6th XS 650. Your web site has been a great inspiration. I look here often for ideas for something new to do to the next one. Mikes XS and Custom Rewind were instrumental in helping to make this neglected old '79 Special the dependable and fun ride it is today. I forgot to mention that my now 14 year old son helped with the polishing and sanding required to make it pretty. Thanks for the inspiration and keep up the good work. P.S.
