Utah Hardtail XS650 Project: Fat Cat
Hi Bob, my name is Fat Toni I live in Salt Lake City Utah. About 2 years ago I was out looking for parts for my 72 650 Triumph "Bonnie" and they are not easy to find parts for, I have some BSA's and Triumph's. Well anyway one of my buddy's at the local bike shop's was saying how the XS 650 looked like the classics, and that if I wanted to build my own creation this was the bike. Well I had always wanted to build my own bike from the ground up, so I bought an 82 XS650 frame and that was the beginning of the end. Now I am hooked and I tell every one they should build one. I hacked the frame in half and turned it in to a hard tail, that was the hardest part and not all that hard if you ask me. Then I slowly bought parts as I found what I wanted. One year, some drops of blood and a wild imagination and you can do what you want and I did....... I have already started on one for the wife........ I am glad I found The XS650.
