1979 Street Tracker:

Hi,

Thanks for the site, this is my 79 Tracker. The project was started by a member of the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group. He got the idea from Steve Abell's bike. He had the seat pan and a front fender hand made out of fiberglass and the seat out of leather.  nfortunately the year he put it on the road he was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. Three years ago I purchased the bike from his wife and have continued to work on it. I removed the electric start and rewired the bike.  Smaller turn signals. And I cut and lightened the frame. This year I had the engine rebuilt. In the future I would like a 19" rear wheel and new exhaust. I love riding this bike and ride it to work when weather allows. I also have a 77D which I would like to turn into a Scrambler or a Roadster.
