Custom XS 400:

Hi,

Here are some pics of my XS 400. Cut the rear down lowered it about 2" front and rear. Sporty tank, headlight off a Cushman, small Z bars, homemade seatpan (going to be leather in the near future), ammo box for the battery and electronics,trailer rear fender, forward controls by TC Bros. choppers (only thing I bought for the bike). Total cost with buying the bike was just under $800. Finished it on a Thursday in June and rode it over 250 miles in the downpouring rain Saturday on the Greasebag Run and show ( I won an award for it, the show was for homebuilt bikes), what a way to test your new bike out.
