1975 Street Tracker:

This Street tracker goes
on sale on e-bay at 8PM July 28th. It was built by my dad and has
only enough miles on it to work out the carb jetting and make

1975 Yamaha XS650 Street Tracker in the Marlboro colors of
Porsche guards red, winning silver, and black with clearcoat. Has
electric start and kick start. New instruments with indicator
lamps all work including flasher indicators, neutral and high
beam indicator. Has front and rear stop lamp switches as stock.
Head lamp is a high intensity unit with a separate daytime
running bulb.
Front forks lowers were turned of excess mounts and have new
seals and dust covers. Rear swing arm had excess tabs removed and
new bronze bushings installed and reamed to fit. Front brake
caliper and master cylinder were powdercoated and rebuilt with
new seals and pads. All cables are new. Handlebars and levers are
new. New Monza rear 13&3/16 in. shocks. Wheel rims were
polished and respoked with new spokes, new rim strips, tubes, and
Dunlop K180 tires.
Engine is stock with new gaskets, seals, fastners, starter
upgrade from Mikes XS and clutch upgrade. Carbs are 38mm CV with
jetting correction and velocity stacks with screens. Engine has
new filters, plugs and points. It starts and runs perfectly with
no leaks or unusual noises. The exhaust is an Ascot system from
Mikes XS and has a great sound and fit.
The seat/fender is a modified unit from Omars and requires no
tools for removal. The gas tank is a Shell 750 model from Grand
Prix Glass with 2 petcocks and filters.
All metal items were bead blasted and powder coated or painted
with epoxy primer and urethane paint except for hi-temp paint on
the cylinder and head.
This bike is a show bike built to ride with reliability and
safety, it is not a race bike. It is a near flawless example of
the street tracker.
