Andys Chopper Project:
Hey! I'd like to start off by saying that I love the website you've got here! I spent a lot of time browsing nearly everyone's bikes, and the projects on this site inspired me to build a chopper. I'm a 23 yr old Mechanical Engineering Master's student from McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, Canada. I did a restoration of a 1967 MGB GT when I was in highschool; a father/son project, and now I thought I'd try my hand at building my own chopper. Bought this 1984 XS650 for $150 since it had a seized engine and had been sitting in storage/outside in a backyard for some 20 years. I unseized the engine while I was at school (with a propane torch and a hammer), and got the engine running.
