Custom Chopper:

So, I'm Re-Posting The Old Girl again, this time with its newer paint job, Green Metallic Snakeskin !!**did that with the Inspiration of Beer and Loud Heavy Metal, in the middle of the night...14 hrs.  People have told me that having a Green Bike is bad luck, but I respond with the fact that I have Ridden all season on 1 set of Plugs.. Then Leave the area with the Hammer Down.. And let people listen to her roar....  Ha,  I love them open Dragpipes..   OK, Hardcore 650 fans, here's the rundown... I found an All Original '74 in a storage shed belonging to one of the guys I work with, after he bought it at an auction some 20 yrs ago...  8000 miles and severe frame damage after a toss down the 401.  I kept the Funky Ridged Rims, and the motor, and tossed darn near everything else.  I've been welding since I was 12, and being the Senior QA at a Large Weld and Fabrication Shop, so lets just say Heavy Metal is my life...  7" stretch in the frame, lowered 4" Hardtail - no suspension here.  Heavily modified Sporty Tank, flat bottomed and cap relocated.  Honda XL 350 forks, and a Boat Trailer Fender, narrowed 3", cause real old school doesn’t incl Fat Tires. There are no "Electronics", no transistors anyways, Orig Re pop voltage regulator and a handmade wiring loom by yours truly, THANK YOU HAYNES MANUAL - after 20 yrs, mice get hungry.  Oh yeah, In order to have the Front Disc out in front of the Forks, cause behind em looks funny - I had to use a Dodge Powerwagon Speedo Gear Corrector inline to the Yamaha Snowmobile Speedo..  Headlight is a Gutted KC Daylighter with a Halogen Bulb. FWDS are 78 XS 400 Rider peg mounts -SO CLOSE to the bolt pattern of the Engine mounts... BMX Trick Pegs are available at any local BiCYCLE shop...Drag Bars on customized stock Risers,  Iron Cross Mirrors cost me next to nothing - It helps to know The Owner of a Motorcycle Graveyard. Zook Savage Battery box.   The whole build only cost me 1500 bucks. And that includes the Full Engine Rebuild *Clutch and Seals and Porting and Honing...   Starts First Kick when hot, 4th when cold, IF it doesn’t snap your leg off..  And leaks just a little bit of oil - well Regular Chopper Maintenance includes "stuff a clean Rag in here Every 3 weeks"   I Named her THERAPY - I don’t think I need to explain why.  If I do, then you wouldn’t understand the purity of riding a machine that YOU built from scratch.  Lets just say that the constant giggles make it worth it.   Real Choppers are BUILT not BOUGHT.   But I do Highly Recommend NCK Cycle Salvage in Dorchester Ontario.. Ride Safe Kids... We are all out here to have fun.
