10-14-07 Sunday Ride On A Nice Winding Road!
Hi,
I found a new road this morning that is a great ride! It has many, many turns. It is Highway 307 to Kraemer, La. It is 30 miles from Westwego, La. and 40 miles from New Orleans. You just go West on Highway 90 until the turn off at Highway 182, shown below. Go another two blocks and you are there. Highway 307 on your right. It is only two lanes until the end 20 miles later..
This is it! It is a 2 lane road for 20 miles, the first ten are the best! The rest of the road gets residential but it is still nice, has a few turns, and it is practically deserted! No traffic!
When you leave the sugar cane, it gets wooded.
Goats.
Chicken or Egg farm.
This is where Highway 307 ends. You take a right on Highway 20.
This is on Highway 20 just after you take a right.
This is Highway 3127. It is only 6 miles from where Highway 307 meets Highway 20.
You take a right for 23 miles and you are back at Highway 90!
